A hot cup of coffee watching daylight break through the morning fog in Nebraska made for a good way to start the day. Running a few hours behind allows us to see country we would normally pass through at night, plus bonus ride time

Denver bound

Back on the train, second leg of this little vacation of ours. 18 hours from now, we will arrive in Denver recharged and ready to go, so much better than flying (and when was the last time you had a full course meal served on linen on a flight, I enjoyed braised lamb shank, mashed potatos, veggies and a decent red wine)
